SMS Sender ID Register

Register branded SMS sender IDs through CloudoIP.

Use this application page to give CloudoIP the organisation, sender ID, authority and evidence details needed to assess and lodge an SMS Sender ID Register request.

Before you apply

ACMA requires sender IDs to be connected to the organisation that uses them.

From 1 July 2026, businesses and organisations sending SMS with a text sender ID must use a sender ID registered on the ACMA SMS Sender ID Register. CloudoIP reviews each request before registration activity proceeds.

1

Confirm the organisation

Provide the legal name, trading name, ABN or non-ABN entity details, website and contact address for the organisation that owns the sender ID.

2

Prove authority

Identify the authorised applicant and provide evidence that the applicant can act for the organisation or sender ID owner.

3

Document the sender ID

Explain the sender ID, message use case, sample messages and the evidence linking the sender ID to the organisation.
